About Love and Logic

Love and Logic is a philosophy of raising and teaching children which allows adults to be happier, empowered, and more skilled in the interactions with children. Love allows children to grow through their mistakes. Logic allows children to live with the consequences of their choices. Love and Logic is a way of working with children that puts parents and teachers back in control, teaches children to be responsible, and prepares young people to live in the real world, with its many choices and consequences.

Almost anyone will benefit from the Love and Logic approach. It especially help parents and teachers enjoy working with children through easy-to-use techniques. The Love and Logic approach helps children develop and grow in a healthy way, provides them with confidence and dignity, and teaches them how to become more responsible. The possibilities are limitless.

Dates and Times

Day and evening classes available. This creates flexibility so that if you can’t make it to a class and have to miss your regular class, you can come to the second session or vice versa.

The day classes are held on Mondays from 11-1 on the following dates:
11/10-Course topic: Raising Responsible Kids or The Love and Logic Formula
11/24-Course topic: The Love and Logic Formula
12/8-Course topic: “C” stands for control that’s shared

The evening classes are held on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and on the following dates:
11/6-Course topic: Raising Responsible Kids
11/20-Course topic: The Love and Logic Formula
12/4-Course topic: “C” stands for control that’s shared
12/18-Course topic: “O” is for ownership of the problem

Childcare is on an as needed bases and $5.00 per child per class. If anyone needs this, we MUST know about it in advance to make arrangements.

Cost

MedCare Patients: $20 per class or $35 per couple. ***Sliding scale discounts available based on income.

MedCare Employees: FREE. Must submit $50.00 deposit by check or money order and not miss more than 2 classes. The check or money order will not be cashed unless more than 2 classes are missed. If 2 or less are missed, the check or money order will be returned at the conclusion of the session. 25 EER points awarded per class.

One free class to anyone that signs up before November 1st.

How to sign up

Complete and submit the bottom half of the flyer with payment. Please indicate day or evening class request. If mailing, please attention this to Angela deLeon. If anyone bring this to the office, please place in an envelope in my box. We will provide receipts after each class.
