 MedCare Pediatric Nursing, LP, offers comprehensive nursing services to children throughout the Houston metropolitan area, aged birth through 21 years old.
Private Duty Nursing
Private Duty Nursing allows parents of medically fragile children to have qualified, pediatric-trained nurses in their home to care for their child up to 24 hours/day, 7 days per week. At MedCare, our RN case managers work closely with you and your child’s physician to determine the appropriate nursing schedule and treatment plan for your child’s unique needs.
We only hire the most skilled, compassionate and professional pediatric nurses to treat children with special needs, such as:
- Ventilators/tracheostomies
- G Buttons/NGT/G-Tubes and feeding pumps
- Oxygen/pulse oximetry needs
- Nebulizer treatments, CPAP/Bi-PAP
- Respiratory insufficiency, BPD and chronic lung disease
- Neurological deficits and syndromes
- Severe developmental delays
In addition, we always have an RN Case Manager on-call, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to answer questions and assist our clients.
 Skilled Nursing Visits
In addition to long-term care, we also provide short-term skilled visits which provide teaching and support to parents of children being discharged from the hospital with:
- Trach care
- G-Button/NGT/G-Tube care and feeding pumps
- Lab draws
- Injections
- Wound care and dressing changes
- IV infusion services (antibiotics, enzymes, etc.)
