Respite Night/Parents Night Out

Our respite program is a free service provided by MedCare Milestones, a non-profit organization committed to helping children with special needs. Respite is offered once per month on a Friday night to give parents of children with special needs the chance to get some much-needed time away to catch a movie, run errands, or even a special date!

Parents with a special-needs child can contact our Respite Program Coordinator to fill out a request form, and all respite openings are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis. Siblings are welcome to attend, and all children will be sure to have an excellent time with our wide variety of games, arts and crafts, movies and special attention from our caring staff of nurses, therapists and trained volunteers.

We currently accept children ages infant – adolescence, and they are grouped with Team Leaders based on age, diagnosis and other family members attending. For more information on this amazing program, contact Angela deLeon at 713-995-9292 ext 146 or email her here.
